every hiking experience should be fun. it does not matter on how you enjoyed your hike (whether you have a porter or not). Enjoying the mountain, on the first place, is every mountaineer's goal.
Personally, hindi naman issue ang pagpapa porter. in fact, sa pag climb sa mt everest, kailangan ng porter. im sure, kahit sa iba pang matatas na kabundukan, known internationally, madami ding nagpapa porter.
sa pilipinas, it is a matter of choice kung magpapa porter ang climber. personal choice yun.. personal experience naman ang pagka climb.

di bale na akong nahirapan to conquer the Mt. apo basta dala ko yung sarili kong bag at hindi nagpa-porter….
…baka naman fullpack ng mashmallow ang trail food mo at kalahati ng backpack is sleeping bag…tsk tsk tskpag nasampolan ka ng injury…ewan ko lang wag naman sana…..
