Mountain News: Merrell Concept Stores now open in Metro Manila: TriNoma, Market Market, and Festival Mall
Today I had the opportunity to visit the Merrell Concept Store at Market! Market. Although of course Merrell has had a sustained a presence in the Philippines as the most reliable shoe brand for the outdoors, it is only recently that they’ve started putting up stores.
The advantage of visiting the Merrell Concept Stores, of course, is the variety of designs, models, and sizes. You can be sure that the latest model is available, and indeed today I got a pair of a Merrell Chameleon Monsoon Gore-Tex which I hope to field test soon.
The first three stores are in Festival Supermall, Alabang; Trinoma in North Edsa; and Market! Market! in Bonifacio Global City. Of course, Merrells are very much available in many outdoor and department stores nationwide.
PinoyMountaineer.com welcomes the growing diversity of available outdoor shoes in the Philippines, which is in keeping with the growth of the mountaineering and outdoor community in the country.

always ask/check kung kelan manufactured yung merrell na balak nyo bilhin. pwede nyo rin check sa internet. di kasisila nagbababa ng presyo kaya mukhang laging new model yung shoes nila.
ask the salesperson to show you the manufacture date (nasa dila yun) and always inquire their return policy. based sa experience at maraming feedback, may tendency yung stocks na nasa Pinas eh marupok yung dikit ng goma. di ko alam kung dahil old stocks or sa weather or anuman.
Does anyone over there know if They carry the new Chameleon 3 maze sandals at any one of the merrell concept store locations thruout the Manila area?
sir gid.. mgkanu po yung price nyan??gs2 ko bumili.. Thanks
That's great! I need a new pair of trekking shoes. Have tried a pair of Merrels before but they made my feet tired right away. Would love to try other models. I owned a pair of Hitecs when I first started out but couldnt find the model I want here in the country. I would like to avoid TNF trekking shoes as much as possible. Now maybe I will be able to if I can get a new pair of Merrels that isnt too heavy but offer protection during major climbs.
