Is there a ‘Seven Summits of the Philippines’?

If there’s such a thing as ‘Seven Summits of the World’, which our compatriot Romi Garduce is now on his way to completing, is there a ‘Seven Summits of the Philippines’? As in the global list where there’s a problem on how to classify Australia and Oceania (hence the Messner and Bass lists), there’s also a problem on how to classify it in the Philippines. For one, there’s no significant mountain in Samar, so we made it Samar-Leyte. But the first list will leave out some very nice peaks like D2 and Mayon — in this sense, the second list is more inclusive.
Anyway, whichever way you classify it, PinoyMountaineer gets a score of 6/7!

I agree with Sir Gid… Kalatungan is the 5th highest… Our last recorded GPS reading for Kalatungan is 2896masl while Kitanglad is 2904masl… although I already climbed Tabayoc, we didn't have a GPS that time.
About Ragang… I think it's piapayungan not ragang as the 7th highest. Both this mountain are located at the same mountain range.
These two mountains remains unexplore…
How about Maagnaw which reads 2767masl… GPS reading in our last holy week triple traverse.
Good AM, Gid pakidouble check yung 7 highest mountains mo, nacheck ko narin sa ibang websites, based dun sa artciles nila, eto ang highest mountains sa pinas : APO, DULANGDULANG, PULAG, KITANGLAD, TABAYOC, KALATUNGAN at RAGANG. mas mataas ang TABAYOC kaysa sa KALATUNGAN.
