List of mountains affected by Typhoon Mina (Nanmadol)

Update 1 (0942H 08/27/11): Sarado ang Mt. Pulag. From Ma’am Mereng: “as of now, road from Baguio to Bokod (Mt. Pulag) is CLOSED. Gueset and Lebong sections of the road are damaged, waiting for loader to open it up. From Vice Mayor Ray Tello.”

As of this early morning we do not have reports yet of major damage in roads or trails wrought by Typhoon Mina (Nanmadol), but if they come in, please update us with the status of the following mountains, roads leading to them, and other mountains:

Tarak Ridge – lots of fallen trees, trail intact but very slippery

SOUTHERN TAGALOG
Mt. Romelo
Mt. Makiling – some loose areas and fallen trees
Mt. Batulao – slippery/muddy parts but otherwise okay
Pico de Loro
Mt. Maculot

How's the weather at maragondon (pico de loro)? There's a mountaineering group with newbie hikers on route to pico. They pushed thru despite warning. Does anyone know here a contact at DENR Maragondon?
