List of mountaineering clubs and groups in the Philippines

Starting April 2009, the list of mountaineering clubs at the sidebar will be retired and the mountaineering clubs will be transferred into a separate page. This will enable the categorization of the clubs into the following:

I. UMBRELLA ORGANIZATIONS (i.e. MFPI, MFSM)
2. SCHOOLS, COLLEGES, AND UNIVERSITIES (i.e. UPM, LM, SBMS)
3. LOCALITY-BASED GROUPS (i.e. CNMCi, SANDAWA-APO, AMCI)
4. COMPANIES AND ORGANIZATIONS (SMART Mountaineers, PALMC)
5. SPECIAL-INTEREST CLUBS (i.e. Climbing4Christ, environmental groups)
6. ADVENTURE TEAMS, HARDCORE GROUPS (i.e. FPMEE, Team T-Rex)
7. OVERSEAS FILIPINO MOUNTAINEERING CLUBS/GROUPS (i.e. PinoyTrekkers Tokyo)

We are inviting all mountaineers to help form the list by submitting the names of your mountaineering clubs and other details such as website URL, contact information, etc. Meanwhile, the existing list at the sidebar will not be updated — this is reason why I am not able to entertain ‘add requests’. It will be removed soon.
