Filipina mountaineer Lalaine Hablado in TLC’s reality show, “Fun Taiwan Challenge”! Go Lalaine!
The PinoyMountaineer Visayan Voyage Team (2009) is the first PinoyMountaineer Team to be assembled, and was composed of nine persons, and remains a special group of people for me; all of them are very good friends of mine. It is with great joy that I wish to share that one of the members of the team is now a star in a TV reality show! Filipina mountaineer Lalaine Hablado, is a leading contender in the latest season of “Fun Taiwan Challenge” and she was featured in Philippine Daily Inquirer yesterday.
No less than Janet Hsieh described her: “She’ll get a lot of television time. She is really loved by the audience and crew.” She is also loved by her mountaineering friends here in the Philippines! Aside from the five-mountain Visayan Voyage, Lalaine has joined the following climbs with me: Akiki Ambaguio Traverse, Tirad Pass and Tirad Peak, Mt. Tres Marias, Seven Lakes of San Pablo, Mt. Makiling’s Peak 3, and many others! She joined the 2011 Mt. Kinabalu Expedition!
